Wow what a year! 2022 was a record wedding season here in Sonoma County! I had the honor of being a part of 35 weddings! 35 different love stories, each and everyone unique and amazing. One of the perks of this business is meeting so many different people, all with a variety of cultures, careers, family dynamics. It really is a reminder of how big and how small or world is. (<----does that even make sense :)?) I learn so much with each wedding and am grateful for the couples who allow me to spend just a moment being a part of their lives.

 I love going back through the galleries and reliving all the moments of joy, the happy tears at the ceremony, the silly smiles captured during the speeches. All of the emotions! Its the best! I love that this is what I get to do. Capturing moments of joy to help you will remember for a lifetime.

I also take the time to look at how can I serve my clients better, is there something I should be doing different? I love this aspect of my work as well, the personal challenges to improve and fine tune my skills. Each year I pick something to focus on, a word or phase to help keep me on track. This years word is intention. I want to be more mindful of how I am spending my time, not just in work but in my downtime too. I'm working on something exciting to share with the other wedding photographers based on this word. I cant wait to share it!
